Following the tremendous success of KGF Chapter 2, Yash’s next move has been a topic of much speculation. The actor’s name has been linked to several major projects, including Ramayana and Brahmastra 2. Additionally, there have been reports suggesting that he may return for KGF Chapter 3. However, there is now an exciting update regarding his next film. For those unfamiliar, KGF Chapter 2 premiered on April 14th of last year and was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, ultimately grossing over 1000 crores worldwide. As an all-time blockbuster, fans are eager to see what Yash has in store next, hoping for another grand success.
According to a report from Pinkvilla, Yash is set to surprise his fans with a content-focused film, rather than something grandiose. A source familiar with the situation shared, “Yash and Geethu Mohandas have been discussing a possible collaboration for the past year. Yash was impressed by the concept that Geethu presented to him. While everyone was expecting Yash to collaborate with some of the biggest names in Indian cinema, the Rocking Star is surprising everyone by choosing a credible script with a respected figure from Malayalam cinema.”

The post-credit scene of KGF Chapter 2 hinted at the possibility of KGF Chapter 3, which sparked immense excitement among fans of the franchise. Although numerous theories regarding the storyline of the third installment have emerged, the makers have yet to confirm any of them.
To commemorate the first anniversary of KGF Chapter 2’s theatrical release, the makers released a video highlighting the film’s journey and Rocky Bhai’s journey to becoming the ruler of KGF. The video also offered a clue to the probable storyline of KGF Chapter 3. It suggested that the third installment would depict Rocky’s life between 1978 and 1981, a period that was not covered in the second film.
During a recent interview with India Today, Raveena Tandon, who played the role of Ramika Sen in KGF Chapter 2, expressed her hopes for a third installment in the franchise. She stated, “Well, (I am) keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a KGF 3 and we will be working on it very soon.” She also shared her positive experience of working on the film, praising the director Prashanth Neel for his focused approach.
While reports suggest that KGF Chapter 3 may not begin filming until 2025, fans eagerly await its release, as well as Yash’s upcoming film Yash19, the official details of which have yet to be announced.
