Google Maps launches street view in 10 Indian cities
It is a 360-degree virtual reality technology that allows users to interact with the world around them. “It’s a technology that projects you into another place, time and space,” Google India head Rajan Anandan said in a blog post. “By moving around in different directions and experiencing the world through your own shoes, you can explore the streets more intimately than before.”

Google has launched Street View in India five years after debuting in the country. The 360-degree panoramic view feature is available on Google Maps for Android and iOS users, and will cover 3,000 km across two Indian states – Delhi and Rajasthan.
