Today, artists are increasingly pushing the limits of what can be achieved in the realm of digital creations with the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. A collection of images that has been making waves on social media portrays some of the world’s most renowned billionaires as “Slumdog Billionaires”. These realistic portraits, which have gone viral, highlight how artists are utilizing AI tools to create their artworks.

These portraits exhibit well-known figures such as Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Mukesh Ambani, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk, dressed in clothing typically worn by people in poverty and photographed in a slum-like setting. The images are incredibly realistic, to the point where they seem to have been captured by the billionaires themselves.

Digital artist Gokul Pillai posted on Instagram images produced by an AI program called “Midjourney,” which depict some of the world’s wealthiest individuals as though they were living in impoverished conditions.

The use of AI in the creation of art is a growing trend that has the potential to revolutionize the industry. These images created by Gokul Pillai using an AI program are a perfect example of this. They are thought-provoking, visually striking, and have generated a lot of discussion and debate.

Regarding the question of whether the artist did justice to the subjects portrayed, it’s subjective, and opinions will differ. Some may argue that the portraits are an accurate reflection of the wealth disparity and income inequality prevalent in our society, while others may view them as disrespectful or inappropriate. Ultimately, the interpretation and value of art are subjective and open to individual perception.
